First week

Wow, last week was intense. I have four classes: English, Texas Government, Speech, and History. I don't know if you can see the schedule above, I did my best to edit and resize it. So, I have all of my textbooks which I saved alot of money on because I bought two of them cheaper from fellow students and I'm renting one from www.chegg.com It is a really cool and easy site to rent textbooks from. I ordered a book I needed for my english class on wednesday and it got to my parent's house by saturday. My mom is bringing the book up to my dorm sometime this week and I'm so excited. The rented text book also comes with a free return for shipping package.
Right now I plan to go buy a pair of sneakers so I can use the free gym on campus because I gained like five pounds or more over winter break. Losing weight on campus is kind of hard because of the buffet style cafeteria on campus and the starbucks and chick-fil-a are not very helpful either. According to my school doctor, I have high blood pressure and cholesterol for a nineteen year old. She suggest I exercise and go on a diet. But the difficult thing is actually rolling out of my soft warm bed to exercise and control my ravenous cravings for chocolate and salty goodness. We have a convenience store in the dorms which has a mini pizzeria which bakes full size and personal pan pizzas and the most delicious hot wings ever! Oh the carbs are not my friend.
Hopefully, I will find the will power to change my poor habits and lose weight by spring break so I can buy a sexy new bathing suit. I really want to go somewhere this year like take a road trip to corpus or Galveston or even Myrtle Beach. Anywhere there's a beach and a totally awesome college party I'm so in. I just wish I knew more people with cars that I can bribe with gas money and food. :)

Until next time,

Texas Pioneer class of 2013
